Jersey Sings Across the Bay - FAQs

Why are there “Jersey Sings” percussion workshops?

These workshops are building towards Jersey Sings Across the Bay on Wednesday 19th June 2024. To reduce the workload for Jersey Sings while teaching some very exciting and complex rhythms we are looking at incorporating percussion on buckets and spades as well as singing.

What is Jersey Sings Across the Bay?

Music in Action is delighted to offer your school the opportunity to take part in the island’s largest schools’ concert. Jersey Sings Across the Bay will take place on Wednesday 19th June 2024.  It will be outdoors. Schools will perform in the 4 stages across the bay centred around Jardins de la Mer. A key aim of this project, is to ensure that every child in Jersey has the opportunity to make music and experience the rare thrill of performing in a very large event.

Teachers can sign up your class for Jersey Sings by emailing support@musicjersey.com
