Music in Action is a “genuine Jersey” charity. We promote and support the development of music in Jersey by organising popular cultural events of the highest calibre while working together with other deserving Jersey charities. The 2007-2008 concert series will feature three events starring a new semi-professional orchestra, the Jersey Chamber Orchestra, and 2 recitals by international star soloists.
Combined with each event will be opportunities for our children and the disadvantaged to be inspired and educated by some of the best musicians in the world working hand in hand with the best of Jersey. All the proceeds of each event will go to charity.
Our Aims
- Provide a fun and accessible cultural programme of the highest quality;
- Outreach with musical educational programmes designed to encourage and inspire children and young adults;
- Raise money for deserving charities;
- Opportunities for talented Jersey musicians to play with major stars
