Was there a moment that surprised you? If you had to sum up, in your own words, why music matters in care homes — what would you say?

So many reasons here!! Please pick a few!! Unlocks memories, even for residents with dementia.

It boosts  mood and reduces anxiety and helps residents reconnect with their identity and life history.. Encourages social interaction and connection and it Supports gentle movement and physical wellbeing and provides comfort, especially in end-of-life care

It also a offers  a powerful, non-medical way to improve quality of life
