New Year Concert: A celebration with Lilium from Choir of Magdalen College, Oxford

Jersey charity Music in Action is delighted to welcome Lilium, the world renowned ensemble from the Magdalen College Choir, Oxford, for a sparkling New Year concert.

Lilium sings much-loved songs including Blackbird by The Beatles, and Elton John’s Can You Feel the Love Tonight along with other classics.

Founded in 1480, the Choir of Magdalen College is internationally renowned, performing at prestigious events across the world. You will have heard them on major film soundtracks - the BBC’s Blue Planet and Richard Attenborough’s Shadowlands.

Needless to say, this choir is always a pleasure to hear, and in repertoire such as this you won’t find more musically assured - Classics Today

The ensemble has performed at a variety of prestigious events and was featured on Magdalen College Choir’s acclaimed recording The Sweet and Merry Month.

  • Seating is unreserved, so arrive early to secure the best spot. Doors open at 7:00pm.
