Musical Walk from Gorey Pier
Saturday 17th May| 5:00pm | Starting Point: The Moorings, Gorey Pier

Join us for a unique Guided Musical Walk through Gorey, led by internationally renowned violinist Harriet Mackenzie and friends. Blending live music, storytelling, and local charm, this immersive journey explores the brave islanders who tried to escape to France between 1944 to 1945—through sound, landscape, and history.

Acclaimed violinist Harriet Mackenzie and her quartet including violist Dorothea Vogel, and cellist Urška Horvat, will perform a captivating programme, with music related to these incredible stories. A performance will take place from 6-7pm in Gorey Church before at 7.30pm an escape boat will be launched in Gorey Harbour to finish the event.

This is more than a walk—it's an experience of place and sound, celebrating the beauty of Jersey’s coastline, community, and creativity.
